Membership
We keep the number of members at an ongoing 12 people.
We look for people who are keen to participate and share ideas and are able to
attend meetings on a regular basis. In order to make the most of our monthly meetings
we are keen on having people who plan on being in Bangkok for the immediate
future.
To join our club you must be able to attend regular meetings in Bangkok. Otherwise you can apply for Associate Membership and be put on our mailing list.
- We meet monthly, selecting a theme each time and use the following format
- Show our photos anonymously (record camera settings if poss) and review as a group according to the criteria of Impact, Composition, Quality and Relevance to theme
- Select a shortlist of Best Shots to post on our flickr site
- Rotate the chair of the meetings and follow up each month
- Share information on events, exhibitions, websites, processing tips, as well as networking and using the group to achieve specific objectives, eg generate workshops with professional photographers, field trips etc.
- Meet more regularly when desired, eg field trips, outings within Bangkok
- Members bring their own photos but may also bring other relevant pictures found in magazines etc. as a source of inspiration

Guidelines
Members are required to:
- Respond to e-mails, however brief the reply
- Try to bring pictures to the meeting, however good or otherwise!
- Attend the club whenever possible but always let the chair know whether you can join or not; attend at least 2/3 of the sessions
- Take the chair of the sessions in turn and do the follow-up -Use our flickr site to post pictures and comments; can also use as a discussion board or organizational tool for the club (meetings, agenda, trips, events)
- Provide one contact email address and one phone number (preferably mobile phone) to be kept confidential but used for club business.
Associate Members
Associate members receive news and event notifications through the
BPC mail correspondance.
